Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but follows religiously the new.
I don’t usually join blog challenges (even though I started my own) because…well, because I see what other people do and I’m all like “OMG I’M NOT THAT GOOD!” But after 7 weeks, I’ve decided to try out the SL Disneybound challenge from Style Minions. They are seven weeks in so I’m now playing catch up. I skipped week one (Peter Pan) because I had too many ideas, I have to figure out just one to use! I’m also trying to use stuff I already have and not going out of my way to buy specific items for it so we’ll see how that goes…
Week Two: Ariel
Week Four: Snow White
Week Five: Dory
So many things I want to mention, I don’t know where to start! Ok that’s not true because I first want to mention that today is “Day of Pink“, the International Day against Bullying, Discrimination, Homophobia and Transphobia in schools and communities. Day of Pink was started in Nova Scotia (That’s in Canada for you non-Canadians) when 2 straight high school students saw a gay student wearing a pink shirt being bullied. The 2 students intervened, but wanted to do more to prevent homophobic & transphobic bulling. They decided to purchase pink shirts, and a few days later got everyone at school to arrive wearing pink, standing in solidarity. The result was that an entire school stopped homophobic & transphobic bullying. Show your support, today and everyday by wearing pink and feel free to donate to a great cause!
Next in line would be this a-maz-ing new (mesh) carnal skirt from evolve. I’m actually wearing the non-rigged version which seems to fit my shape better. But yeah, the bubblegum and black print is available at The Private Room Event, which was the first time I’ve ever been there. Personally, I think they are way too many of these “events” going on. It seems there’s a new one sprouting up every time you turn a corner. How about designers just offer these products at/and lower prices in the mainstore? Anyway, that’s just my two cents. Go to The Private Room Event and buy the skirt 😀
And lastly, I had the opportunity to meet Maci Restless of Little Miss Fashion Cupcake. Now, she’s someone I consider to be part of the “SL Elite” even though she denies it. Either way, she just couldn’t stop RAVING about how amazing my blog is, how awesome I am, how she wants to be like me, jealous of my skills….ok, some of that may or may not be true 😉 but check out her blog cause you won’t regret it!

Remember in my last post I mentioned a leather jacket I got from chronokit? Well here it is. Like I said, it comes in one size only and the alpha layer pretty much erases your entire upper body. But who cares? You’re going to be wearing an stellar jacket. It’s available in a different colours and is unisex (or there are men and women versions available, I forget)
Have you been to N-Core lately? I have (after not going there for like, a year). Most of the time, I don’t buy N-Core because a) too expensive for my small budget and b) i find the heel always looks odd. But they just released these Coquette Platforms (I have an almost unhealthy obsession with platform stilettos so I want like every colour of these.) They are only 250L per colour so you know, a very reasonable price for shoes. There are also three other types of the Coquette shoe release before so go check them all out.

Jacket ♦ chronokit – Motorcycle Leather Jacket
Capris ♦ Artilleri – 1st Mate

I mentioned before that some designers at Truth District are having a 50% sale. After fighting with V3, I picked up these amazing GTFO Boots from Gos. I’ve been wanting these foreveeeeeeeeeeeer. So happy that I finally took the plunge and bought them!
So I threw together this plain outfit to show them off. Well, the boots and the Army Cap from S&V which I found over at JP:dsg when I picked up my new jacket. It comes in 6 colour varieties, 3 beak lengths (regular, long, short), has 4 different wear styles.
I love this pulled down version cause it’s usually how I wear my hats and the backwards style is so natural looking.
Hat : S&V - Army Cap Hair : Elikatira - Garden Shirt : RA - Tank (Mesh) Pants : Artilleri - 1st Mate Capris Boots : Gos - GTFO Boots
