Faire’s Fair

There are a few events going on in SL at the moment (aren’t there always?) but this weekend, the fifth Fantasy Faire opens.  Personally, I’ve never been but I hear it’s quite amazing, especially if you are into fantasy wear. Plus, it’s a Relay For Life event so it’s for a good cause too! Pin Me Down will be one of the vendors at the faire (sharing a stall with SAKIDE this year, so you can find them on the Lotus Valley Dream sim) with some exclusive makeups. The Warrior comes in a faded black, and faded white which is tintable you can make it any colour you want. Myst comes in six different layers so you wear it how you want. Because this is a RFL event, 100% of the purchase price will go to donations. Another Warrior makeup will be a hunt prize that goes on for the duration of the Faire.

Speaking of fairs, Kawaii Fair has already started and runs until the 26th (or 28th? Both dates are listed on the blog so I’m not sure). Kawaii is full of nauseously adorably cute everything! Most of it isn’t my style but had to pick up this super cute Panda Tank Top from (R E D). It’s a panda! How can you not want it?!

Oh, one last thing, this week’s Red Solo Cup challenge is Austin Powers / 60′s British Invasion!  I got inspired because someone on plurk mentioned that with LeLutka‘s Bouffant hair, I looked like a fembot from Austin Powers. So originally I wanted to take a picture with a bunch of girls, all with the same lingerie and hair but because of various issues, it ended up just being Aevalah and I. I think we would be some pretty damn hot fembots.

Say Do You Remember…

I probably should have mentioned this over the weekend but Apple May Designs new mesh dress September was available for 75L. Now it’s regular price. Yeah….sorry about that. It’s available in three “muted” colours (taupe, pink, and sky) and comes with a cute matching, mesh collar.

LeLutka also has some recently released hair. Usually I don’t go for the big “lion mane” like hair but I couldn’t resist picking up Bouffant. Also included is a separate pearl tiara attachment that adds a little something something to the style. Bouffant is definitely an attention grabbing and versatile hairstyle.

And It’s been a while

Hi darling dearest! It has been a while, hasn’t it? Lots of great things have happened while I wasn’t blogging and a bunch of exciting events are coming up. One thing that was released was the LOGO Infinity Chloe Hybrid Mesh Avatar. Or “that mesh head” as everyone calls it I honestly didn’t think that I would get it because of that same old story of “but I’ll lose my face! My originality! Blah blah.” That old chestnut. But I did end up getting it some time last week. And I freakin’ love it! I’m not going to write a long blurb about it because it has already been done by much better writers like Gogo @ Juicybomb.com and Iris Ophelia @ New World Notes.

One of my problems with having a mesh head though…it doesn’t always rez for people so I end up being a headless avatar with hair, eyes and teeth. Such a hot look, I know.

Jamaican Me Crazy!

While I patiently wait for the new Pink Fuel release, I’ve gone back to Glam Affair. I love Linn (it was the lips that did it for me) but I did admire Cassiopeia, which I couldn’t afford. When Ohna of Oh Ohna told me that the Jamaica tone of Cassiopeia is at The Dressing Room for only 70L, I jumped on the chance to “get with the trending crowd”. I would like to know what windlight is being used in the vendor ad though because on my screen, the tone isn’t as tanned/dark as that. But I still love it so much!

You are the best thing that’s ever been mine

So, I noticed there was this guy being all model and taking photos outside the dorm today. At first, as I stared at him through the parted drapes, I thought it was a bit odd and he looked like the kind of guy that would wear an American flag tank top to a dance off. But as I was walking by on my way to the hipster coffee shop to pick up all the hipster guys  library to study, I saw what a hottie he was…and decided I couldn’t let him go. So, following him to the park, I clung to him and softly whispered “We are one now. And forever”

ok I know that was a stupid “story” but I find this pose to be hilarious (available at Glitterati for FLF…and I think it’s still up there now for 50L). Plus I got to show off my “creeper smile”. And I think he’s really into me too, just look at his face.
